CONSULTATION for New Establishment (Step 1)

During this session you and your Consultant will discuss your personal hair care history, you’re styling preferences and your lifestyle in order to determine if Sisterlocks® or Microlocks is right for you. You will also have a cluster of “SAMPLE LOCKS” put in your hair to see if they will hold and to determine the best size for you.

This consultation is essential for both you and your service provider to ensure you get your locs done in the most suitable way for you.

 1-hour consultation duration/ $60.00 to secure appointment, and if you decide to move to step 2 within 7 days of your consultation, this cost will be applied to your total package cost.  Otherwise, it is non-refundable.

Following your consultation for a New Establishment service, you may satisfy your full package balance in two parts.  Half at the time of securing establishment date. Half at the time of establishment service.  Gratuity is appreciated but not required.

IMPORTANT: Please ensure your hair is washed, free of any oils and/or products, and without braids or extensions. Your hair must be in its loose, natural (or relaxed) state. You may blow dry your hair on a cool/ low heat setting.

We reserve the right to refuse consultation & any refund of deposit paid if your hair is not washed or in its loose, natural state upon arrival. Wash services are available as an add-on.

New Establishment (Step 2)

The locking process can take a minimum of 20-36 hours or even longer in some cases (done in approximately 10-12 hours sessions). You will be provided a starter kit that includes the proper shampoo for your new locs, tiny rubber bands and “tip sheets” on grooming and shampooing as your locks settle in.

Establishment cost includes:

Base Price + Cost per Inch (beyond included inches of hair) + Head Size + Hair Texture + Hair Density.

Please understand that every establishment cost is custom because every head is different and this is why a consultation is very important and necessary.

FOLLOW UP RETIGHTENING (Step 3)

This visit should be scheduled 3-4 weeks after establishment and washing your hair 1-2 times with the starter shampoo provided.   The integrity of your locks will be reviewed, your locks will be tightened, and feedback provided.

Retightening maintenance should be scheduled 4-6 weeks apart.
